The "Banca del Tempo"Bellaria Igea Marina, as part of the Stazione Fiorita project, will place and create a vegetable garden in pots in Piazzale Gramsci at the railway station on Saturday 26 April. The urban organic vegetable garden is an increasingly popular "green" system for upgrading areas, together with flower beds, to encourage the development of green areas in the city and make people aware of the techniques and ease of cultivation in the home. The garden, which will be set up with medicinal plants, aromatic herbs, salads, chillies, tomatoes, aubergines and strawberries, will remain active and productive throughout the summer until the end of September.
The harvest will be donated to charity.
